Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to contribute to the Bank's financial reporting efforts. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Accounting and Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Bank's strategic direction through your expertise in complex accounting and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation and publication of accurate and timely financial information.
- Drive process standardization and automation initiatives within the finance department.
- Analyze complex accounting matters, providing insightful recommendations and solutions.
- Conduct benchmarking analyses to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Provide support for other tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager.
Qualifications
- Possess a CPA designation.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting within the banking industry.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting standards and best practices applicable to financial institutions.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain fluency in both French and English.
