Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in producing insightful and timely financial reporting analysis to senior management, Board of Directors, Shareholders and Lenders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review financial results and present analysis in a clear and concise manner to quickly understand variances against budget and forecast.
  • Develop and prepare executive-level financial performance reports, presentations and dashboards.
  • Contribute to the implementation of accounting policies for the group.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Play a key role in the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax provision support and corporate tax-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communicator in both English and French.
  • Large corporation/multinationals environment experience considered an asset.
  • Strong background in ASPE accounting standards, consolidation and financial reporting.
  • Rigorous, structured and organized.
  • Action oriented, proactive with high level of accountability for delivering quality work.
  • Outstanding organizational skills including the ability to manage and prioritize concurrent tasks, meet deadlines and to work in an independent, flexible manner when required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft D365 experience (preferable).
