Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Storage Solutions Architect to drive the development of Lenovo RAID/HBA products and solutions with our partners. This role will support the design, development, and debug of new RAID/HBA subsystem solutions and ensure their successful lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with the server platform engineering team to implement and design solutions, leading the debug of complex issues and root cause investigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new RAID/HBA subsystem solutions
  • Collaborate with the server platform engineering team to implement and design solutions
  • Lead the debug of complex issues and root cause investigation
  • Manage lab hardware setup and configuration, as well as site-to-site shipments and tracking
  • Work closely with our worldwide team in a dynamic environment
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • At least 5 years of experience in HW/FW/DD Design of Storage and Server subsystems
  • Prior Storage industry experience with RAID/HBA technology
  • At least 1 year of experience with PCIe/NVMe, SAS, SATA protocols
  • Previous Protocol analyzer experience
  • Experience with Hardware and Storage debug
  • Proficient in Linux/Windows/VMWare Operating systems
  • Knowledge of HW Development processes
  • Knowledge of Server technologies including HW, UEFI, BMC architecture
