About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Drywall Installer to join our team at One Stop Granite Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to ensure a smooth and professional finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, ensuring a strong bond between the drywall and surrounding materials.
  • Plastering and Finishing: Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a seamless finish.
  • Measurement and Cutting: Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to ensure accurate installation.
  • Material Handling: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency and install exterior and interior steel studs.
  • Health and Safety: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms while maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
