The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Web technologies and APIs to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust systems with a primary focus on Web technologies and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to scope and plan engineering efforts and dependencies, own ambiguous projects at every stage of their lifecycle, and provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and promote a culture of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust systems with a primary focus on Web technologies and APIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to scope and plan engineering efforts and dependencies
  • Own ambiguous projects at every stage of their lifecycle to deliver high-quality, impactful products to users
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and promote a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance engineering efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a senior software engineer
  • Ownership mindset for your projects end-to-end, striving for the best outcome
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of Web technologies and APIs
  • Extensive experience in frontend development using React, Vue or Angular and TypeScript
  • Experience working with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Experience working with backend systems, databases, and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Familiarity with GraphQL for data fetching
  • Familiarity with Puppeteer or similar tools for automating and scraping web content
