About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Multi-Skilled Caregiver to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and homelike environment for residents by performing various custodial tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
  • Organize and participate in social and recreational activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
  • Answer phone calls in a courteous manner and record and distribute messages accurately.
  • Respond to emergency situations in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assist with recreational activities, including those on weekends and holidays.
  • Report any building deficiencies or concerns to the Community Manager.
  • Perform daily tidying of common areas, including vacuuming and dusting.
  • Clean resident private rooms or suites and maintain the sanitation of the building.
  • Provide laundry services to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and assist with inventory management.
Requirements
  • CPR certification is an asset.
  • FoodSafe certificate is preferred.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector - Criminal Record Check.
  • Immunization record.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • At least one year of experience working with seniors in a community setting.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Respect and promote the dignity, choices, and individuality of each resident.
