As a Heavy-Duty Cleaner, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing common areas such as hallways, floors, stairs, and restrooms.
  • Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and maintain a clean environment.
  • Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper waste disposal.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. You will also coordinate with contractors for major repairs.
  • Conducting safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of residents and property.
  • Moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Assisting with landscaping tasks such as watering plants, tending lawns, and removing snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You should be physically fit and comfortable handling heavy loads. Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required.
