Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician to join our team at Norwesco Canada Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work on machinery, assembling mechanical equipment, and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with machinery installation, maintenance, and repair, as well as operating machining tools and hoisting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Install machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with machinery installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Ability to operate machining tools and hoisting equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
