Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and programming of security systems, including alarms, access control, and CCTV, tailored to client specifications.
  • Engage with clients to diagnose issues with their security systems effectively.
  • Execute service calls, including emergency responses available 24/7.
  • Deliver high-quality service and maintenance independently, while suggesting enhancements as necessary.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service.
  • Conduct system tests to verify successful service completion and make adjustments as required.
  • Educate clients on the operation and proper usage of their security systems.
  • Provide clients with fundamental knowledge regarding system functionality.
  • Carry out high-quality service and maintenance, recommending system improvements when needed.
  • Perform verification and ULC inspection tasks as designated by Security Coordinators.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Security Coordinators to ensure seamless operations.
  • Strive to meet all deadlines for installations and service calls.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various shifts as needed.
  • Overnight travel may be required for this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • VDV/M – Limited Specialized Trade Electricians' License is mandatory.
  • Proficient in computer and network systems for effective setup.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the alarm installation and service sector is preferred.
  • A valid Canadian driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with Access Control, Alarm, and CCTV systems is essential.
