Diagnostic Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Diagnostic Services team at Hamilton Health Sciences. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a critical role in coordinating, performing, and evaluating interventional diagnostic radiology examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and perform interventional diagnostic radiology examinations
- Provide patient care to meet the needs of clients and families
- Guide and direct clinical and technical associates in a teaching and research environment
- Function independently with diverse and complex patient populations and procedures
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
- Current BCLS registration
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or willingness to certify
- 1 year recent experience in critical care or emergency room nursing
- 1 year recent experience in Procedural Room or Operating Room nursing
- Port-a-Cath and Central Line Access certified
- PACU and/or assessment component of the critical care course
- Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
