Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Diagnostic Services team at Hamilton Health Sciences. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a critical role in coordinating, performing, and evaluating interventional diagnostic radiology examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform interventional diagnostic radiology examinations
  • Provide patient care to meet the needs of clients and families
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates in a teaching and research environment
  • Function independently with diverse and complex patient populations and procedures
Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BCLS registration
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or willingness to certify
  • 1 year recent experience in critical care or emergency room nursing
  • 1 year recent experience in Procedural Room or Operating Room nursing
  • Port-a-Cath and Central Line Access certified
  • PACU and/or assessment component of the critical care course
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
