Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Services team at Hamilton General Hospital. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will coordinate, perform, and evaluate Diagnostic Services examinations, guiding and directing clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform Diagnostic Services examinations
- Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment, including the Operating Room O-Arm
- Collaborate with ED, trauma, and OR teams to provide seamless patient care
- Rotate through other modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology
- Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Professional designation of Registered Medical Radiology Technologist (MRT)
- Experience in a similar hospital environment with CT preferred
Working Conditions:
- Rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays (standby as required)
