Position Overview: As a Technology Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Vice President of Technologies at LCI Education. Your primary focus will be on the strategic oversight and coordination of the IT project portfolio. This position is essential for ensuring that IT projects align with the organization's strategic goals, enhance portfolio performance, and facilitate effective governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Portfolio Management: Develop and manage a comprehensive global IT portfolio, ensuring alignment with LCI Education's strategic objectives and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Project Management: Oversee IT initiatives from inception to completion, crafting detailed project plans and tracking progress to guarantee timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Communication and Change Management: Implement communication strategies for stakeholders and lead change management initiatives to ensure seamless transitions to new systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough, up-to-date, and compliant documentation for all IT projects and activities.
  • Business Case Development: Create and present compelling business cases for IT initiatives, including cost-benefit analyses and ROI projections.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with ICT teams and other departments to ensure project success, including development teams and IT managers.
  • Participation in Audits and Analyses: Engage in IT audits, conduct evaluations of IT process maturity, and develop strategic roadmaps.
  • Performance Indicators and Management Review: Define and monitor IT KPIs/OKRs, contribute to Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and organize the IT Project Management Review.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration is required; an MBA or PMP certification is preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT portfolio or program management.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking capabilities and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Tools: Expertise in portfolio and project management tools, with knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, with mastery of project management methodologies, including Agile and Lean.
  • Change Management: Experience in change management and proficiency in developing business cases.
  • Certifications: ITIL certification is required; familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Professional proficiency in English is essential due to interactions with clients and partners at both national and global levels.
