Project Control Officer Job Description

Cofomo is seeking a highly skilled Project Control Officer to join our team of experts in technology project management. As a Project Control Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by providing expert support to our project managers and teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate project plans into project planning tools and support their use.
  • Assist project managers in project review, including scope changes, schedule changes, assignments, tasks, dependencies, timelines, resources, and links to other projects.
  • Track timesheets, update project data (actuals, work in progress, forecasts, metrics).
  • Monitor project costs and schedules, identify discrepancies, and ensure sound project management.
  • Analyze performance indicators, anticipate issues and trends, make recommendations, and ensure implementation.
  • Produce resource usage reports and alternative scenarios to support project managers in overseeing project resources.
  • Prepare presentations, statistics, reports, dashboards, and documentation required by stakeholders.
  • Ensure project management records (deliverables, change requests, follow-up points, decisions, risks, issues) are up-to-date and compliant with management methods.
  • Apply and ensure compliance with project monitoring and control standards and contribute to the improvement of project control practice.
  • Participate in projects where expertise is required.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant PCO experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in administration with a major in information systems or equivalent.
  • Very good knowledge of PMBOK principles and other recognized methods.
  • Mastery of project management processes, plans, and tools.
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
