Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at strEATS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient financial management
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and financial decisions
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Attention to detail to maintain high standards of quality and safety
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
