Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Byron Community Pharmacy.
Responsibilities- Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
- Process claims for health insurance and workers compensation.
- Maintain supplies and perform general clerical duties.
- Organize and maintain inventory of pharmacy supplies.
- Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks.
- Support newcomers and refugees with settlement needs, including housing, transportation, and childcare.
- Recruit newcomers and refugees for our pharmacy team.
- Support foreign credential recognition for newcomers and refugees.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore.
- Work language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
