We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Byron Community Pharmacy.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. This role will involve scheduling, workflow management, billing, and inventory control.
Responsibilities:- Assist with scheduling and workflow management to ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy.
- Process claims for health insurance and workers' compensation.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform general clerical duties.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
- Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Pharmacy or drugstore.
Experience:1 year to less than 2 years.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
