About the Role

CareRx is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team as an Evening and Weekend On-Call support Pharmacist. In this role, you will provide critical support to our nursing home partners, responding to after-hours emergency calls and ensuring the timely delivery of medications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to emergency calls from nursing homes, providing clinical and operational support as needed
  • Complete data entry and coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in phone support for nursing customers, including triage of new orders and clinical question management
  • Provide professional functions related to dispensing, including pharmaceutical care and patient counseling

Requirements

  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacists
  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience, with a preference for experience in a Long-Term Care pharmacy environment
  • Experience with Kroll and Kroll LTC modules is an asset
