About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at 1817833 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
    • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs
  • Logistics and Administration
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
    • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Provide professionalism in customer service
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Accurate completion of inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports
    • Compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
    • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Work Experience
    • Will train
  • Physical Demands
    • Physically demanding
    • Handling heavy loads
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
