About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Rail Safety Consultant to join our Rail Certification and Consulting business. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional levels of expertise in delivering leading-edge and innovative cross-sector sustainable products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-quality analysis, assessments, reports, and designs to support client projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Mentor and guide junior colleagues, ensuring project activities align with company procedures and standards.
- Innovate new tools and techniques to meet client needs, drawing from global best practices.
- Plan and execute project activities, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide technical expertise and inputs for business development activities and proposals.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, ensuring client safety and satisfaction.
- Represent our company in client meetings, workshops, and industry events.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive project success.
- Assume leadership roles as needed to support business objectives.
Key Competencies and Experience
- Highly experienced (15 years+) in the rail industry and proven track record working in safety assurance and/or assessment.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational abilities, flexible and adept at meeting deadlines.
Desirable Experience
- In-depth knowledge of CMREA/CENELEC standards.
- Familiarity with the Canadian Railway System, including CMREA, is advantageous.
