Job Title: Mechanical Inspector

Destinationone Consulting is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems and installations comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, equipment, and installations to verify compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Review mechanical plans and specifications to ensure they meet all required technical requirements and regulations.
  • Identify and document violations, deficiencies, or hazards in mechanical systems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, compliance, and enforcement actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to contractors, engineers, and property owners regarding mechanical codes and safety practices.
  • Stay updated on changes in mechanical codes, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure accurate inspections and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Inspection, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a mechanical inspector or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent observational and analytical skills for assessing mechanical systems and identifying issues.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with contractors, engineers, and municipal officials.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing inspection reports and records.
  • Ability to stay current with evolving mechanical codes, regulations, and industry practices.
