Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Concurrent Disorders Therapist to join our team at the Robert and Lily Lee Family Community Health Centre in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services to clients with concurrent mental health and substance use disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both mental health and substance use issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate case management and coordinate care.
- Participate in education and training initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge in concurrent disorders treatment.
- Contribute to program development and evaluation to ensure effective services for clients.
- Master's degree in a Behavioural Health Discipline from a recognized program.
- Three (3) years' recent related experience providing professional services to individuals with substance abuse and mental health issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychotherapeutic and counselling skills, as well as bio-psycho-social issues related to mental health and substance use.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with clients, colleagues, and community agencies.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using electronic medical records and other software applications.
