We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team at Engineering for Kids of Windsor. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science and technology programs to children aged 4-14.
Key Responsibilities- Program Delivery: Develop and deliver high-quality science and technology programs that meet the needs of our students.
- Classroom Management: Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, and manage classroom activities to promote student engagement and participation.
- Student Support: Provide individualized support to students as needed, and work with parents and guardians to ensure student success.
- Program Development: Collaborate with our team to develop new program ideas and materials, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our programs.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a teaching or education role, preferably in a science or technology program.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with children and adults, and strong organizational and time management skills.
