Job Title: Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic Helper to join our team at 3331206 NOVA SCOTIA LTD. As a Mechanic Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our maintenance and repair operations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting mechanics and tradespersons with various tasks, including moving equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures. You will also be required to clean machines and work areas, and provide support to other workers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist mechanics and tradespersons with tasks such as moving equipment, holding stakes, and signaling safety procedures.
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Provide support to other workers as needed, including helping with tasks and providing guidance.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, and Indigenous people.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
