Job Description

Job Title: Technical Art Director - UI [Far Cry Project]

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Art Director to lead our UI team and drive the development of our next-generation game engine. As a key member of our technical art team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our artists and engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, visually stunning UI experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the game development team to define and implement UI design and art direction.
  • Lead the development of UI tools and pipelines to improve artist productivity and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the technical art team to ensure consistency and quality in UI art assets.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for UI art and design.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to artists and engineers to resolve complex UI-related issues.
  • Contribute to the development of new UI features and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as design and production, to ensure alignment and consistency in UI design and art direction.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in UI art and design, with a strong background in game development.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality UI experiences.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills in UI art and design tools, such as Unity and Maya.
  • Experience with UI design principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
