Technical Art Director

Behaviour Interactive is seeking a highly skilled Technical Art Director to join our team. As a key member of our business unit, you will be responsible for overseeing the art production process and ensuring the highest level of visual quality in our games.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the art production process, working closely with the Artistic Director, lead artist, and other directors on the project.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to drive visual quality in our games.
- Develop and implement best practices, solutions, and tools to simplify production and promote resource reuse.
- Conduct technological surveys and push the edge of technology to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Foster effective communication between creative and technical teams, assessing the impact of rendering methods on performance.
- Assess costs associated with art production and provide recommendations for optimization.
- 12 years of experience in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and special effects for video games, with at least 5 years in technical positions.
- Advanced knowledge of Python, Maya, and Substance, with experience in Unreal Engine and Blueprints.
- Strong understanding of rendering processes in different platforms and ability to manage priorities.
- Proficiency in communicating and drafting documents in English and French.
