About the Role
Technica Mining is seeking dedicated individuals to join our expanding team as Open Pit Production Drillers in Sudbury, ON. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate surface drilling equipment for mining, quarrying, and road construction projects.
- Execute drilling operations with precision, adhering to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in open pit drilling, quarries, or road construction environments.
- Skilled in operating drilling equipment and achieving accurate azimuth, dip, and depth.
- Ability to read and interpret drill plans and sections effectively.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and the well-being of others.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
