Job Summary
The Graduate Assistant - Academic Support position at Toronto Metropolitan University is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student to gain teaching and research experience while supporting the academic success of students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic support to students, including consultation and guidance on academic matters.
- Assist in the grading of tests, lab sets, essays, and term papers.
- Proctor tests, midterms, and quizzes.
- Confer with the Supervising Instructor and attend mandatory training sessions.
- Attend employer orientation workshops and mandatory employer training.
Qualifications
- Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).
- Enrolled in a 1st year Masters, 2nd year Masters, or PhD program.
- Good working knowledge of APA 7.0.
- Relevant experience: preference given to applicants with academic experience in fashion.
Compensation
- Master - $47.06 per hour.
- PhD - $50.82 per hour.
