Dental Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at HMTG Professional Corporation. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health
  • Assist dentists with intra-oral procedures, including taking X-rays and recording dental procedures
  • Fabricate and place temporary crowns and restorations
  • Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a dental setting
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental office or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift equipment
