Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a qualified French Language Instructor to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a part-time French Language Instructor to work with students of various skill levels, from Grade 9 to 12. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching French language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach French language skills to students in a small group setting
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 French core curriculum
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Strong French skills and ability to guide students' understanding
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
