Radiology Specialist in Nuclear Medicine

Position Overview
We are looking to enhance our Medical Imaging department at Interior Health Authority and are inviting applications for the role of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
This position offers casual employment, which means that work hours can fluctuate between 0 and 37.5 hours per week. Opportunities for work may arise on short notice, as well as through pre-scheduled shifts to cover for absences. There is also a chance to apply for permanent positions through our internal recruitment process.
Shift Details
The shifts for this role will be rotating days, with the following time slots: 06:30 to 14:30, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, and 08:30 to 16:30.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will oversee the daily functions of the department, delivering both diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients. Our facility is equipped with a complete radiopharmacy and a stress lab. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting Bone Densitometry procedures.
Impact on HealthcareThe Nuclear Medicine department has recently undergone significant renovations, including the installation of a state-of-the-art SPECT/CT camera. This advancement will greatly enhance healthcare delivery in the region, enabling us to provide diagnostic services closer to home.
