Position Overview

The Interior Health Authority is currently seeking a General Pathologist (AP/CP) to enhance our pathology team, which operates at a full-time equivalent of 4.8FTE.

Key Responsibilities

Our pathology group manages a substantial volume of cases, including:

  • Approximately 10,000 surgical pathology cases annually
  • 100 bone marrow biopsies per year
  • 500 cytopathology cases each year
  • 50 autopsy cases annually

In addition to case management, responsibilities include quality assurance activities and the education of medical and laboratory students.

Compensation and Benefits

Most services are compensated under the provincial contract, with opportunities for additional fee-for-service billings for specific procedures.

Collaboration and Community Engagement

  • Experience as a general pathologist
