Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Implement and uphold stringent quality control measures to guarantee the production of top-tier mass timber products.
- Work closely with quality control teams to identify and address any deviations from established standards.
- Champion a culture of safety throughout Mercer Mass Timber, prioritizing the well-being of employees and maintaining compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the long-term success and sustainability of the Mass Timber Mill.
- Manage budgetary considerations, ensuring financial goals are met and costs are controlled.
- Work closely with the finance department to analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions to enhance profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the forestry or manufacturing industry.
