Job Summary
The Mayville Engineering Company is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems, including control panels, ladder logic, and automated machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electro-mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Work with control panels, ladder logic, and other automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and maintain automated machines, including robots, handling equipment, and CNCs.
- Order and maintain necessary supplies and inventory.
- Communicate effectively with Plant Services operations and other teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technology and trends.
- Develop and maintain work instructions and training documentation for troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment.
- Collaborate with vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; industrial control certificate or electro-mechanical technology degree preferred.
- Valid Wisconsin Operator's License or ability to obtain within a reasonable period.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, automation technology, and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
