Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mobile Mechanic Assistant to join our team at O & T Truck and Trailer Repairs Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will provide support to our mechanics and technicians in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and technicians in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Perform welding tasks as required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

As a Mobile Mechanic Assistant, you will work in a variety of locations, including urban and rural areas. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be exposed to dust, cold, and hot temperatures.
