Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of communal spaces such as lobbies, hallways, and staircases.
  • Execute cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing kitchens and restrooms.
  • Prepare vacant rooms for new residents by ensuring they are impeccably cleaned.
  • Manage waste collection from resident rooms and dispose of refuse following established protocols.
  • Maintain the housekeeping cart, ensuring it is stocked and alerting the Supervisor when supplies are low.
  • Promote a culture of safety by identifying and reporting hazards, adhering to safe work practices, and utilizing personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to performing housekeeping duties efficiently and with a friendly demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle cleaning agents and equipment safely.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring quality living conditions for seniors.
