Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Microtel Inn and Suites- Antigonish. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and appliances
  • Vacuum and mop floors, and clean carpets and upholstered furniture
  • Restock linens, towels, and toiletries
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Provide basic information to guests on hotel facilities and services
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field an asset
