Food Service Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a committed individual to enhance the fresh shopping experience for our customers. If you possess a strong enthusiasm for food and exceptional customer service abilities, this position may be ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold the vision of Farm Boy
- Demonstrate a passion for food and confidently address customer inquiries
- Greet and assist customers in accordance with Farm Boy Service Standards
- Advocate for corporate policies while ensuring department cleanliness
- Support opening and closing operations
- Train team members on various tasks as required
- Efficiently handle cashier responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of part of a post-secondary program
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Capability to learn both manual and automated systems
Work Environment:
- Providing service under time constraints across multiple departments
- Standing for extended periods during shifts
- Repetitive hand movements and the potential for heavy lifting
- Exposure to varying temperature conditions
