Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Transport Chalut 2000 Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on transport trucks and trailers, including adjustments, replacements, and inspections of mechanical units and components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with transport truck systems, including electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to discuss work assignments and progress.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units and components to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services to ensure the optimal performance and safety of our fleet.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
