Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Bulkley Valley District Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective care plans to meet the physical, social, and psychological needs of patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Current Level C CPR certification
  • One year of recent related experience in an acute care setting, with a significant labour and delivery component
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate preferred
