We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Rashmi's Bakery. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough and batters for various sweet goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread.
- Bake and decorate cakes and pastries to order, ensuring they meet our quality and presentation standards.
- Prepare special orders, including gluten-free and vegan options.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination.
- Physically demanding role, requiring repetitive tasks and standing for long periods.
This is a permanent, full-time role, working 30 to 44 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a bakery environment, with exposure to flour, sugar, and other ingredients. A reliable and team-oriented individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role.
