About the Role

Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Engineering Consultant Liability to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert risk assessment and risk improvement services to our customers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess complex risks and identify potential loss exposures in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement risk improvement programs to mitigate potential losses and improve overall risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to provide expert risk management advice and support.
  • Conduct loss investigations and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and business partners to ensure excellent service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of experience in Risk Engineering related to Liability.
  • OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in Risk Engineering related to Liability.
  • OR Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an associate degree and 6 or more years of experience in Risk Engineering related to Liability.
  • AND Experience working in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Prior experience in complex liability considered a strong asset.
  • CRM or CIP Designations considered an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of exposures controls.
  • Advanced knowledge within industry segment.
  • Certification in area of specialty, Risk Engineering.
