Job Summary

Brandt is seeking a highly skilled Building Operator to join our team in Regina, SK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building Operations: Ensure properties are effectively maintained, including operating heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, and performing regular building inspections and checklists.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, as well as assisting in implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain: Manage inventory, track stock items, and issue purchase orders for materials and equipment.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for 24-hour emergency response and assist in coordinating emergency repairs and maintenance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with tenants, management, and contractors to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all pertinent government regulations, business unit practices, and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Possess a Class 5 Operator's Certificate, Refrigeration Operator's Certificate, Engineer's Certificate, WHIMIS, First Aid, CPR, and OH&S Level 1.
  • Skills and Experience: Have thorough knowledge of building operations and building automation systems, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess common sense, good judgment, and the ability to work under pressure and remain calm at all times.
