Job Title: Marketing and Communication Counselor

At Cégep Héritage College, we are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communication Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our corporate affairs department, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing communication strategies that support our institutional directions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement communication policies and strategies to inform students, staff, parents, partners, and the general public about our college's activities and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various services to stay informed about their activities and respond to their needs.
  • Prepare press files, communication plans, and evaluate the results of communication strategies and methods used.
  • Plan, organize, and lead public relations, promotional, and recruitment activities, including audio-visual requirements.
  • Oversee the engagement and evaluation of a team of support staff employees.
  • Collaborate on designing, developing, and updating the college's website, intranet, and social media platforms.
  • Liaise and collaborate with others to maintain good working relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant specialization such as Communication, Journalism, Marketing, etc.
  • Fluently bilingual in both English and French (written, spoken, and comprehension).
  • Experience with Adobe suite software, Microsoft suite 365, and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with audio-visual tools and equipment.
  • Excellent drafting and editing skills.
  • Experience developing strategic communication strategies.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to forge good working relationships with college personnel and the community.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to different situations.
  • Strong work ethic and discretion.
  • Political acumen and good judgment.
Salary Range:

$52,177.00 - $86,548.00 per hour
