We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our team at On Side Restoration. As a Carpenter - Restoration Specialist, you will play a critical role in rebuilding and restoring damaged personal property in the aftermath of disasters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and restore wooden structures, including framing, drywalling, and finishing
  • Install and repair ceilings, including knockdown and texturing
  • Install insulation and vapour barriers
  • Install doors, trim, moldings, and baseboards
  • Install hardware and cabinetry

Requirements

  • Experience working in construction environments
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a passion for quality work
  • A safety mindset and valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check and communicate in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled trades ticket (Carpenter, Painter, Cabinetmaker)
  • IICRC certification (restoration focus)
  • WHMIS and First Aid certifications
