Job Title: Field Service Technician

At Alfa Laval, we're committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation and optimal performance of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site service and technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Install, configure, and modify Alfa Laval products and equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Document all service activities, including equipment serviced, parts used, and travel/site hours.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, to provide service and support.
Requirements:
  • Technical diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on heat exchangers and separation equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including vibration analysis and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of urgency and high energy level.
