Position Overview
McIntosh Perry is seeking a meticulous and proactive individual to take on the role of Contract Administration Division leader. In this pivotal position, you will manage the daily execution of projects while ensuring adherence to contract specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing Construction Inspectors
- Interpreting and reviewing contract terms
- Monitoring construction activities for compliance
- Validating quantities and generating progress documentation
- Evaluating critical path schedules
- Facilitating timely progress payments and ensuring compliance
- Identifying challenges and proposing solutions
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
- Compiling reports, measurements, and certifications
- Coordinating with contractors and clients
- Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both French and English
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
- Relevant experience in similar positions
- Capability to interpret construction drawings
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Enthusiasm for learning and teamwork
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule and travel as needed
Experience
- Preferred registration with OIQ
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction projects
- Prior involvement in Rail, Transit, or road projects
