Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team at Million Deliveries Inc. As a key member of our delivery operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages and messages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Safely transport and deliver packages, messages, and other items to customers, while also picking up items from various locations.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication with our team and customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, as well as trip information such as vehicle mileage and fuel costs.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of packages and messages.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift and handle packages weighing up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Availability: Be available to work 35-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as needed.
