About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Merchandiser to join our dynamic team at Acosta. As a Product Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate placement of products on store shelves, updating prices based on inventory and market conditions, and implementing planogram changes to optimize product placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Placement: Ensure accurate placement of products on store shelves, taking into account visual merchandising principles and product category management.
  • Price Management: Regularly update prices based on inventory and market conditions to meet customer needs and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Planogram Implementation: Set up and install promotional materials, and implement planogram changes to optimize product placement and drive sales.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and ensure that products are always available for customers.
  • Store Visits: Conduct regular store visits to identify opportunities to enhance our sales area, introduce new products, and educate consumers about our clients' latest innovations.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain positive relationships with store employees and managers to ensure a seamless sales experience.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed reports and document in-store actions to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Merchandising experience desirable.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to deadlines. Excellent communication skills in French (both written and oral). Physical capability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Availability: Availability to work morning and daytime hours. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
