About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Golden Happiness Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Baking and Production: Bake mixed dough and batters, and prepare special orders to meet customer demands.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet production targets.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Operate machinery, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work Environment

As a Bakery Operations Manager at Golden Happiness Bakery Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, reliable, and a team player.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
