About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Trades Assistant to join our team at Highview Restoration Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure that equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure that tasks are completed accurately.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Emergency Response: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the general public.
Work Environment

As a Construction Trades Assistant at Highview Restoration Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. You will be required to work in a physically demanding role, handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
